What a gift. What an amazing, beautiful, overwhelming gift. The biggest gift of all being new memories to hold onto forever. Memories full of life, laughter, joy and togetherness. We are so grateful to Believe In Tomorrow for handing us these few days, to leave it all behind and just enjoy being a family. Thank you.
Our family includes Dad, Mom, Zach (18), Spencer (15), Maggie (11) and Caleb (6). In May 2008, Caleb was diagnosed with Nephroblastoma, Kidney Caner. After months of chemo, radiation, surgeries and hospital stays, he is now in remission. Praying, of course, that he stays there. Our lives, our family, will never be the same. Facing cancer head on is a battle that leaves it’s mark in so many ways. We were pulled apart and pulled together at the same time. Some of the ways we changed were blessings, other extremely painful.
We had amazing, gifted doctors, nurses, social workers and play therapists to help us through the frightening world of cancer and all that such a diagnosis brings. We have Believe In Tomorrow to help us cope as a family. It’s not a diagnosis just for Caleb. Your foundation gets that, and we thank you for your part in helping heal each one of us.
God Bless You,
The Hawbakers

Holy Blizzard of 2010! We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing place to be snowed in!
Our kids, Sam(Samantha) 4 and Ryan 2 had an absolute ball this week learning how to ski(sort of :)), ice skating for the 1st time, and running around like crazy exploring every corner of this amazing house!
Since Sam’s diagnosis of ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) on February 20th, 2009…our family has not had a chance to just be together, relax, and have fun. This week together as a family has meant the world to us!
To Everyone at Believe In Tomorrow, the wonderful volunteers and the local organizations that provide services for the families…THANK YOU! The house is perfect and everyone that has helped us throughout the week has been kind and generous.
We are looking forward to running in the Port to Fort in April and will do everything we can to support Believe in Tomorrow in the future so as many families as possible can have an amazing week like us.
Lots of Love!
The Pratts - Jen, Todd, Sam, and Ryan

To The Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation,
My family and I can not THANK YOU enough for the invitation to stay at your home on Wisp Mountain. We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute we were there. The house was absolutely beautiful and the kids loved the goodies you left for them.
The long weekend was so relaxing and peaceful. Knowing that we could get away from the stress of having a child with cancer and just be a family enjoying our time together was something we will remember for a long time…
The kids really enjoyed learning to ski and skating as well as the ride on the outdoor rollercoaster.
Smileys Pizzeria was very nic eand the kids had a great time using their tokens to win prizes, we actually got a chance to relax and have an adult conversation while watching the Daytona 500 on the big TV’s.
As for Wisp Resort, WOW they really took care of us…
From the ski rentals, to the lessons for the kids, to the rollercoaster ride, to tubing it was wonderful, we could not have afforded to do this without their support and it really pulled the whole weekend together for us.
We can not thank you enough for the time we spent on Wisp Mountain.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to ride the blimp. This is a memory she and Blake will have together and he long after she is gone. Her cancer is aggressive and we know without a miracle, her life will be short. You made it possible for her to forget the pain and cancer for a short while.

(from Mom)
Dear Believe In Tomorrow,
Tonight we attended the Winterfest of Lights!!! It was absolutely incredible. The weather was a little brisk but it set the holiday mood just perfectly. We also went down to the beach and watched the sunset. We were so looking forward to this four day vacation away from the daily sadness of this wretched illness and debilitating way of life which our beautiful daughter must endure. Everyone at Believe In Tomorrow has our utmost gratitude for the compassion they continually show for families such as us. Keep up the great work and there shall be a special place in Heaven for those such as you.
Love,
The Bennett Family

(From Dad)
Dear Believe In Tomorrow,
My name is Matt Bennett. I have a daughter with a mitochondrial disease. This is our third time here. Me, my wife Tiffany and our three kids, Matthew, Christopher, and Kara, we all love it down here. We are from Philadelphia and its nice to get away every now and then. We Usually come down around the beginning of December. It is nice around the Christmas holiday. We go to the parade, we go to the Winterfest of lights show. Believe In Tomorrow Foundation sends us out to eat in nice restaurants, passes to arcades, miniature golf, bike riding, and museums. They made our stay nice. The condo is decorated with holiday cheer and a Christmas tree. My daughter Kara is fed by a feeding tube in her stomach and has to sleep with an LTV ventilator to help her breathe. So, these vacations given by Believe In Tomorrow are really great. From our family to yours, we thank you so very much.
The Bennett Family
God Bless you all

Dear Wayne, volunteers, etc.
I want to thank you sincerely for all you’ve done for me and my family, Andrew, who is four years old was diagnosed with Leukemia a few weeks after our youngest child was born last May. So this past year was a lot to deal with! This is actually the first time Andrew has been anywhere outside of home with his immune system. To see him smile, and laugh, and count each day how many days are left here on vacation is priceless. He is so appreciative to his siblings, Mom & Dad who’ve also been in for so long! It is so beautiful, clean and child oriented! I am so thankful for all the food you provided for us. We would never be able to afford all you’ve done for us! Andrew loved running on the beach and the deck parties!
All of you must be really special people! I was telling my husband how all of you week after week just try to make others happy! That’s amazing!
Sincerely,
Anthony, Shellie, Anthony, Aleah, Aaron, Andrew & Abigail
